THE COMING OF THE SLAYER
Jacquelyne Van Dyne, known affectionately as Jaq to her friends, arrives in a strange land that reminds her of simpler times of history, where knights still fight, women do not have rights and taverns still have straw on the floor. To all intents she has arrived in the Middle Ages except that here there be dragons and magic!
In a world of mystery and adventure she finds herself in the middle of a civil war where she is eventually forced to chose a side.
Here she begins to learn that all it not what it seems and that fate has some curious twists for her as she is pulled into a war that may decide the fate of the strange land she has arrived in.

BOOK 2
WIZARDS AND KINGS
Presumed dead by her enemies this book chronicles Jaq's adventures as she learns more about herself and the strange world she has arrived in.
She is determined not to repeat the mistakes of the earlier rebellion and yet is more opposed than ever to the Wizards plans.
During her journeys she experiences the life of the people as she builds new friendships and a network of allies.
Yet as the Wizards begin to reveal themselves openly so must she resulting in a hand to hand sword fight with one of them and a discovery of just how far the Wizards will go to defeat her.

BOOK 3
MEROM'S TALE
The first half of the book opens with the introduction of a new character, Merom, a one-eyed, scared pirate and tells of his adventures in opposition of the Wizards. Well into the book Dark Slayer returns to the story with some startling discoveries about herself.
The second half of the book switches to another character brought back from Book One (reader suspense prevents revealing who). The tale tells of the quest to recover another of the ancient Esdraelon artefacts, a magical sword. The reader is taken to the limits of the known lands in the eastern deserts and the southern jungles and meets the people and cultures of those lands.
BOOK 4
SORCERER HUNTRESS
The war has started in earnest now and again Dark Slayer stands revealed ready to lead the free armies against the increasing oppression of the Wizards. Battle galore and the greatest country of the Lands, Calahorra, is liberated.
With a respite Jaq travels to the eastern deserts in search of more allies and discovers secrets and horrors that were better left hidden.
The book closes with a huge army of Far Eastern warriors marching across the Lands at the command of the Wizards crushing all before it. There is despair and questions whether Calahorra can remain standing.
BOOK 5
FATES CHAMPION
With the war at an impasse Dark Slayer takes the battle to the heart of the Wizards' stronghold and another Wizard falls under her sword. But the book tells of the slow closing of the Wizards forces on Calahorra and its capital Vilyavada despite all that they try to do to prevent it.
As the book closes, the borders of Calahorra are aflame and the country surrounded.
BOOK 6
THE BEGINNING
A country besieged but defiant to the last.
Unable to break the will of the people by force or magic, the Wizards resort to trickery to cause discontent and fear. Yet, in the darkest hour, Dark Slayer returns to give hope and to light the ancient signal beacon. The question is whether it will bring the help the prophesy suggests and if so what will it be?
The book concludes with the end of the war and peace at last for the Lands and the woman who could become its queen - If she had not ridden into the sunset in search of new adventure.
